Doug Reid BSc Hons BSc MRICS is a fully qualified Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

The RICS regulates and promotes the surveying profession. The RICS is an independent professional body representing and regulating construction and property professionals in the UK and other countries worldwide.

All members of the RICS must abide by a code of core professional and ethical standards laid out to protect clients and consumers. Although the origins of the RICS can be traced back to 1792 it really became established in London in 1868.

The RICS is the recognised ‘gold standard’ for professional regulation in the property sector.

D.A Reid Property Surveyors, are RICS property surveyors based in the wider-Bristol area. D.A Reid Property Surveyors is headed up by Doug Reid an RICS Property Surveyor. The RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) is a global professional body that represents, regulates and promotes chartered and technical surveyors.

Doug Reid BSc Hons BSc MRICS is an RICS Chartered Surveyor with over twenty eight years experience offering a high level of customer service and specialising in residential surveys and valuations primarily in the wider Bristol Area.

Doug moved to Bristol in 1989. Covering a wide area from Chippenham to Cardiff and Stroud to Burnham-on-Sea, but predominantly in the wider Bristol area. His career started with a small RICS Chartered Surveyors/Estate agents in the South Wales Valleys before joining large corporate companies in South Wales and Bristol and then heading a small surveying practice covering Bristol and Bath from Burnham on Sea to Stroud.

In 2015, Doug set up D.A. Reid Property Surveyors Ltd regulated by RICSto provide home buyers and owners alike with the very best surveying services with the honesty, value for money and customer service you would expect from Doug Reid BSc Hons BSc MRICS.
